Fake News is No News

  Fake news is everywhere—in magazines, articles, and social media.   It has become normal to question the information we receive every day because of the increase in fake news.   I see fake news everywhere, but mostly on Instagram, about celebrity drama and leaks about plots of movies.   However, most of these posts are fake and want to gain attention and publicity.   There are many different ways to determine if you are reading fake news.   An effective way that I have used while reading information on the internet is to check if the author is reliable or not.   Often times, the most controversial information is found on people’s blogs, twitter accounts, and personal websites where  people want to gain media attention.   Another way is to read the whole article to see if the headline matches the content of the article.   Many times, I have clicked on a website because it had an interesting title and found that the information I wa...
